They do a terrific job, and we adopted the younger of our two cats — MinKit, a grey/brown tabby with a very sweet disposition — thanks to one of the remote outreach events MaxFund held at our local PetSmart three-plus years ago. Here’s a photo of him (http://imgur.com/rAb1g) snuggled up against his eight-year-old brother, who our son brought back from an Oregon shelter six years ago and has since been usurped as OUR cat. OK, so we’re really HIS, but you know what I mean.
